We have several exciting job opportunities at Dale View here at Surety Care; working as a Residential Childrens Worker or a Senior Residential Childrens Worker.
Surety Care’s Management have an excellent reputation in the development and progress of complex children who have challenged services previously. Dale View offers specialist accommodation for young people aged 10-17 who require care and support in a home environment. We provide a psychologically and physically safe environment, a secure base, for the young people to grow.
It is critical that the young person’s experience of their time with Surety should be of ‘home’, a place that is safe, secure, supportive and stimulating. You will play a key part in creating this positive homely environment. Encouraging them to engage in fun activities and pursuing their personal interests at home and in the local community. Helping them with their homework and reflecting on their day with them; their achievements and challenges. And prepare them for independence; demonstrating and reinforcing the development of life skills appropriate to each young person’s level of understanding.
We invest in our staff. All staff complete a comprehensive induction on joining and go on to complete a probationary period monitored by the Registered Manager through supervision, mentoring and appraisal. Training and development continue after the probationary period. You will be fully supported as your role with us develops.
The role can be challenging at times but also it’s also very rewarding. No two days are ever the same. The rota for each staff member also actively ensures a positive work/life balance.
NVQ3 is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided for the right applicants. There are excellent rates of pay, bonuses and career progression.
