Our homes and location
Our Homes, Dale View and Derwent View, are located in an attractive part of the Derwent Valley, on the edge of the Peak District between Matlock and Bakewell. Conveniently situated near the local community which offers a wide range of facilities which our young people can access.

Local community activities
We actively encourage the young people in our care to join in with activities and clubs within the local community to feel integrated and accepted. This is all part of our goal for them to progress into semi-independence or return to family, but to have had the support, guidance, love and encouragement to achieve outcomes equivalent to their peers who were not looked after children.
Nearest transport and hospitals
The homes are close to good bus links, and within minutes of the A6. The nearest railway station is at Matlock approximately 2.1 miles.
The nearest hospitals are The Whitworth Hospital (0.9 miles) which is a walk-in urgent treatment centre, and the Chesterfield Royal Hospital (11 miles) which has both adult and children’s Accident and Emergency services.
